Physiotherapy
While Physiotherapy covers treatment for everything from chest physiotherapy to stroke rehabilitation, we at KSSP have focussed our skills on the treatment of sports and spinal injuries, staying abreast of latest research findings and integrating these into our practice to ensure patients recieve the quickest return to the activities they enjoy.
To help keep our practice and methods at the forefront of the profession we have integrated the use of diagnostic aids such as real-time ultrasound, computerised gait analysis and posture analysis into both our assessment and treatment protocols. These assessments assist our physiotherapists in deciding the best treatment methods to employ. While an underlying principle of our treatment is that it is hands-on, with minimal reliance on passive treatment machines such as interferential, TENS and vibration plates, we shall continue to integrate technology into your care where the benefits are demonstrable.
Our therapists will ensure you have a personalised exercise program with which to continue at home to enhance your recovery, and this shall be made available to you via your personal login to the website. This will allow you to return to the exercises in the future in the event you have a similar pain occur.
We welcome Private, Veteran, Medicare and both Workers Compensation and Third Party clients. In the case of all but the Private clients a referral is required from your GP, Specialist or Nominated Treating Doctor. For clients who are undertaking treatment and claiming from Medicare a specific Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) referral is required from your GP. Medicare claims can be processed at the time of treatment so that rebates are reimbursed immediately from Medicare to your chosen Savings or Cheque account. While you may choose to pay your account using a credit card, Medicare is unable to rebate into a credit account.
To assist our clients HICAPS claiming from Health Funds is available as well as the option to pay via Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
